Toy Story 3, College Football, and RanTime

I know, I know, they have nothing to do with each other. But that's what I've spent the last 24 hours or so watching.

Toy Story 1 and 2 are the only animated movies I can say I ever really truly enjoyed. EVER. Meet the Robinsons is a distant 3rd, and it was just okay. Falling dead last on that list would be Shrek 3. It's the only movie I've ever paid for and walked out of mid-movie.

All that being said, Toy Story 3 blows all of them out of the water. This movie was not made for kids, but rather for our generation, the people who actually saw 1 & 2 when they originally came out. It's hilarious, complex, redeeming, and a perfect end to the story, all wrapped into one.

This weekend in college football looked like it would be one of the more exciting ones of the year. Two top 10 match ups, another three top 25 games, plus my Tigers had a chance to knock off #25 NC State.

The first half of the Clemson game was terrible, as we ran our offensive ineptitude up to 7 quarters. We moved the ball okay, but you would have guess we were playing in the pouring rain if you just looked at the fumble totals. Our defense is clicking on all cylinders, and our offense played better in the second half, but we still had problems hanging onto the ball. You might see a few players walking around campus Monday with balls in their hands.

The game I was most excited about was the TCU/Utah game, and while it was exciting, it was not the game I expected. TCU came out ready to play and absolutely throttled Utah, making a case for their claim to a chance at the national title. After watching this game, I for once agreed with something Lou Holtz said, which was the Boise St. and TCU are the two best teams in the country.

RanTime
This will be a segment each week where I sound off on anything I feel like, you know, rant. Obvious, but I know somebody will screw that up.

Three things that really piss me off
1. Group-think - At least twice this week I was called out for having an alternative view that the vast majority of people on a subject. Why? Just because a group agrees on an OPINION doesn't make it right. That's whats wrong with a lot of things here in America: politics, religion, sports...you name it, you can find an example of group-think screwing things up.
2. Ignorance to fact - They're called FACTS for a reason. Please stop trying to explain them away. Thanks. That's all
3. Bad drivers - Stay off the road. I mean seriously, stay off the road. I used to say I have no pet peeves, but this quickly has become numero uno.

Whats up!

Whats up yall? I'm gonna be using this blog to talk about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness.........not!

First off, I have no idea what in the world that means. Second of all, I've got better things on my mind than those silly little games. I'm gonna give yall a taste of my mind when it comes to a variety of thing.

Sports. Check. Some singing and songwriting. Check. A little Jesus. Check. A splash of comedy. I'll try.

If there's anything yall want to see or hear, just let me know, and I'll try to throw some stuff up about that.
